Don’t be the old guy in the club.  I’m not saying that you’re too old go out with the fellows for a few; watch the game, or even solo.  Make no mistake…go out until the day you die.  I even fully endorse the guy who chooses to not settle down or commit to a single woman.  By all means, stay single and continue on the quest for strange.  

However, don’t be the guy who’s trolling in the wrong waters.  We’ve all seen the guy who clearly doesn’t belong in the bar or club.  Take the time to know the mean age of places where you fish for pun-tang, and stay within 5 to 8 years of that number.  Once you’re ten years older than the girls in the club, you simply look desperate and creepy.  There come many a time in a guys life when he must take a step back and self-evaluate.  This is one of those times.  If you’re in your mid-thirties and a group of girls comes into a bar to celebrate one of their twenty first birthdays, you don’t belong in that bar.

Move on to a more suitable spot where 25 to 40 year old women go fishing for men their own age after their first marriages have failed.  This is like fishing with dynamite.  Guys…you can’t miss.
